Update on Pamela

Dear Supporters, It is with great sadness that we share that, despite initially encouraging signs following surgery, Pamela’s condition deteriorated and she has sadly passed away. As a single mother of four, this loss is heartbreaking for her family and for all who supported this appeal. We know many of you hoped, as we did, for a different outcome. While the treatment did not bring the recovery we prayed for, we continue to believe it was worth trying. Your generosity gave her access to treatment, hope, and the chance of more time with her children. Although the outcome was not what anyone wanted, we remain deeply grateful that we were able to stand with her in that fight. Following treatment, some funds remain that had originally been intended to support recovery and ongoing care. We would like to use these remaining funds to support her four children and their immediate needs during this incredibly difficult time. We believe this honours the spirit of your generosity and ask for your agreement to do so.
